My role as a Navigator
I have worked in Spingfield for 32 years, and living here for 16. Working with Welcome Springfield for the last 5 years has opened many doors to my passion, serving the Latino Community. I became a Navigator to share my knowledge and networking opportunities to minority businesses in Springfield & Clark County, My motivation is equality for everyone. I believe that with my past work experiences, I can help the Community Navigator Program level the field and make this program a permanent service here in Springfield for Minority Businesses!!
With over 30 years working with the state of Ohio In Job Placement and Business Services (Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Advocate, Business Service Representative and State of Ohio Montior Advocate for the Migrant Program), helps me as a Navigator.
I advocate for the Latino Community by serving on local boards with Bon Secours Mercy Health Board, Clark County Latino Coalition/ Welcome Springfield Co Chair, Clark County Law Enforcement Advisory Team, Migrant Head Start Board President & El Puente Board.
When I am not helping clients I love to sew, bargain hunt and garden.
